Chocolate Fondue

  • 2 1/2 cups of chocolate chips (whichever you prefer)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/8 tsp kosher salt 
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
 

Directions:

  1. In a heavy saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate chips with the milk and heavy cream, stirring often, until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth. Don't let it come to a boil or the chocolate will burn and clump. 
  2. Once melted, stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
  3. If the fondue starts to thicken, stir in a tablespoon of milk at a time until dipping consistency
  4. Pour the mixture into a fondue pot or small slow cooker to keep warm over low heat while serving
